Hi. The name is Noora. I live in Finland (no, we have no polar bears) and I turn 18 this Christmas.
I'm studying last year in high school and have my matriculation exams coming up. I'll write Finnish, English, French, Maths and Psychology. I already wrote Swedish. I dunno what I'm going to do with my life after graduating but I hope it is language or psychology related. French is my passion and psychology a huge interest.
I like all kind of music and to name a few I'd go for Regina Spektor, Bob Marley, Queen, Stam1na, Paramore, Lady Gaga and so on. I'm always open for new bands and artists as I'm a musicholic. I don't watch a lot of TV but I'm a big fan of Sex and the city, Grey's anatomy and Friends. And a finnish adults' cartoon, Pasila. It always cracks me up. Oh and I love movies. The more surypy the better. No, I'm kidding - any kind of movie expect sci-fi and action are good.
I don't know wherther I am extrovert or introvert. Both of them to a degree I guess. I love sarcasm and my friends tell me I have an unique laugh. I laugh to most stupid things and I have kinda bad sense of humour 'cos even the bad jokes crack me up. On the other hand I can get very mellow at times.

About Me: I'm in my third year of a degree in literature and love books probably more than anything. I'm shy and quirky and do shy, quirky things. Like... I've just started making my own clothes, I slip notes into the pockets of coats for sale while out shopping, I draw silly comic strips, I make gifts for people. I run art projects at a day centre for the elderly and voluntary work is something I'm passionate about. I like other people to be passionate and opinionated and Iove to debate, argue and discuss, be it about gender inequality or animal rights or what your favourite cake is. Oh, and I love to travel. I check my e-mail daily. Letter writing wise, it might be a day or it might be a week, depending on what's going on.

I've been really inspired lately to write. I'm pretty incapable of writing anything longer than 1500 words so all my stuff is fairly short. I decided to post what I have so I can get some feedback and constructive criticism.
The first peice is a poem called Epiphany (it wasn't banned, so I'm hoping it ok to post a poem). It's based of a major discovery of mine, but can be interpreted other ways as well.
Next is a story I wrote for my school's writing contest. I love it. It's not excactly fanfiction, but it's based off a character that already exists. Please don't hate me. The story is called Morality.
The last piece I want to post is a little blurb I wrote randomly during english class one day. I'm not exactly sure what it's about and I don't know where I'm going with it, but I really like it. Maybe you can give me some ideas.

In a few hours I'll be leaving for my first official day of work as a cashier. I'm so terrified I think I'm going to be sick. I HAVE to do this to be a normal person. =/ But if I'm on the verge of tears and my jaw and hands are violently shaking, and my heart is racing hours before I have to leave, what will be the state of me when I'm actually there? How am I ever going to efficiently ring people up and press buttons if I can't even put on my makeup I'm so nervous? Oh god. I think this will be one of the worst days of my life. Any tips on how to CALM down or at least stop shaking? I wish I had drugs...
